I’m speechless, really — and if you have read any of my other posts, you know that doesn’t happen very often. Usually I can fill up two pages with text just off the top of my head, I’m that verbose. But this blog rendered me speechless. I couldn’t come up with a way to start this post — I was speechless.
First, I’d like to thank Enjoy Birth for first providing the link on one of her blog posts. There aren’t very many posts on this blog, “Homebirth Happens“, and the latest one was from back in May. I hope for some more in the future. She is a L&D nurse who has had three homebirths, and writes at least a couple of stories documenting doctors abusing patients by their non-evidenced based practices — and one (a female OB) who deliberately retaliated against a woman who wanted a natural birth “with venom in her eyes.”
